IN THE BEGINNING, THE CONCERN OF ‘WILL I FIT IN?’ OR ‘WILL THEY JUDGE ME BECAUSE I’M BLACK AND I APPEAR A CERTAIN WAY?’ WEIGHED HEAVILY ON MY MIND. BUT I QUICKLY REALIZED THAT ALL OF THESE THINGS DID NOT MATTER. WITH ALL THE HARD WORK, AND THE SUCCESS OF EACH SHOW, WE GREW CLOSER AS A CAST, LABELING THE CAST AS A ‘FAMILY,’ DESPITE THE COLOR OF SOMEONE’S SKIN, BACKGROUND, OR ETHNICITY.â€

THEATER IN IRVINGTON WAS THE DRIVING FORCE IN DEVELOPING THE ARTIST I AM TODAY. A COMMUNITY OF TALENTED MENTORS AND FRIENDS HELPED ME NAVIGATE MY YOUTH WHILE INSTILLING CONFIDENCE AND SELF RESPECT. CLOCKTOWER PLAYERS PROVIDED THE ENVIRONMENT TO DREAM, AND FOR THAT I AM GRATEFUL."
